I have built some years ago a small web page based on WordPress and just keep updating WordPress core and plugins, trying always to be in the safe side…
The main pages are SiteOrigin Page Builder based while for blog and event entries Page Builder is an option for editing.
The problem I get since some weeks ago (to be noted is that I do not usually edit main pages) is that I can’t open ANY old entry or page built with SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Everytime I try to edit anything originally built with SiteOrigin PB brings empty space to the editor (even the usual line asking for inserting a Widget a Row or a Prebuilt Design).
Nevertheless, I can start any new entry or page using SiteOrigin Page Builder.
I can guess maybe there was some issue that I did not take into account, but I have not found anything in the documents I know alerting from this behaviour.
Can someone help me? (apart from being even more cautious when updating :-))
The current version I run is WordPress 6.3.2ES (spanish version) and SiteOrigin Page Builder version 2.26.1
Thanks in advance.

Hi Antonio
Thanks for posting your question.
Please take a screenshot of the issue in the WordPress admin. Upload the screenshot to any online location like Drive or WeTransfer.com and share the link here. We’ll take a look and go from there.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for this help.
Here is the link:

I hope you can see it.
Hi Antionia
Thanks for the link. Please make the access level public and we’ll take a look.
Well, sorry Andrew, now you can see it.
Hi Antonio. Thanks for the screenshot. Please try temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Page Builder. Does the issue resolve with only Page Builder activated?
Hi Andrew, yes, once deactivated all plugins Page Builder seems to work fine as I see the previous structure of the page.
Maybe I could try to check plugins one by one? Maybe it is one of general use because it happens with more than one page.
Thanks for the update. Please try reactivating your plugins one by one or in blocks to try and find the conflicting plugin.
Thanks for your support, I will try that tell you what happen.
Once you’ve found the conflicting plugin, deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and the conflicting plugin to confirm.
Dear Andrew,
I followed your instructions and found a different result: after the activation of all the plugins (one by one) Page Builder worked as expected.
No problematic plugin there.
I find this result good and bad. On the one hand…well, now it works,
but on the other hand, what happened?
Well, at least you provide me a way to discover and isolate problems with plugins,… Try to find the one and if no clue is found, just ask for helpl!!
Thanks for the update. I wish we knew what the issue was. Please let us know if the problem occurs again and we’ll repeat the troubleshooting steps to try and find the issue again. If you’re using a caching plugin, perhaps that was involved?
