SiteOrigin Page Builder Missing

Hi, I use classic editor with Page Builder for my websites (The Landscaper by QreativeThemes), but SiteOrigin Page Builder button disappeared. The plugins are updated and active, but when I try to edit a page, all SiteOrigin Page Builder are missing. This began after the WP upgrade…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Joanne

    Thanks for reaching out.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

I have deactivated all plugins, cleared cache, reactivated plugins — doesn’t work. My theme is updated, WP is updated. Other plugins are working. But not page builder.

    Please advise!!!

    thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Joanne

    Thanks for your feedback.

With the Twenty Twenty theme temporarily activated and all non-SiteOrigin plugins temporarily deactivated, does Page Builder work? Unfortunately, deactivating and reactivating plugins on its own won’t resolve a conflict if one exists. The goal of the test is to find a working baseline. If a working baseline is available, testing can be done to find the issue.

    andrew —

I have a theme called The Landscaper (v. 2.3.1) by QreativeThemes. It comes with plugins including SiteOrigin Page Builder. Since the WP upgrade, I cannot access the PageBuilder, even though everything has been updated to the newest versions. Some of the pages are designed with SiteOrigin widgets, and without SO showing up at all, I have no way to edit those.

    Please help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Joanne

To see if a working baseline is available, please, head over to AppearanceThemes, if a theme called Twenty Twenty is not installed, please, install it from AppearanceThemesAdd New using the search field at the top right. Once Twenty Twenty theme is activated, go to Plugins, use the checkboxes to select all of your plugins except for Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder in one go. Next, go to Pages and edit a page, is Page Builder working normally in this state? Once you’ve completed the test (Page Builder works normally in this state, yes or no) you can reactivate your theme and reactivate your plugins. The test should take a minute or two to complete.
