Hello
We use the SiteOrigin North theme and we have a problem with the menu (see picture blow)
When you use chrome with Windows 10 (it looks only and issue when you use windows 10 in combination with chrome) and you click on menu that has sub menu and you click between menus that has a sub menu the sub menu stays open.
Does someone know how to fix this?

Hi Henri,
My main OS is Windows 10 and my main browser is Chrome. I’m unable to replicate this locally. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
Hi
Sorry, at this moment the url is not connectable from internet.
In more depth
When you hover above the menu the sub menu does not open
I get the problem when: I clik Foto’s, then Overige diensten en then on Foto’s again
I did the test on more windows 10 systems (3 systems) and get the same problem.
Hi Henri Jacobs
Please try a plugin conflict test. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

Hello
Yes, i had a virtual machine that was not yet running chrome and i installed it, same problem.
Hi
Did you also:
Load the page full screen then do a reload (f5) and then click on “Test main2” and then click on “test main” and then on “Test main2” (so not hover but click on it)
Hi Henri,
That’s oddly specific instructions but no, that didn’t work for me either. I’m not too sure we’re going to be able to fix something that happens so rarely.
I understand, it is strange that that I have it on 3 systems (2 hardware 1 virtual machine).
Also when I use MS Inet explorer then it works and also the sub menu opens when I hover above it (what is not happening in chrome)
I think we will try to use other theme to solve it.
Hi
The only thing that i can think of is that i did for those 3 systems and upgrade form windows 7 to windows 10 ? Maybe you use a direct install of windows 10 (no ugrade, clean install)
Maybe you have a system what you also upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10
Hi Henri,
Clean install. Don’t have any upgrades. That’s a possible cause but it’s extremely unlikely.
Hi
A friend of my did a test on a installed windows 10 (see capture movie)
He did the following:
Hover above worked.
Then click on test main
Then click outside the browser window
Then click on a white space on the browser top bar
Then hover on test main2
Hi Henri,
Okay. Able to replicate it now. Will log this.
Sorry to say but that is great, hope you can fix it.
Hi
I did see there was an theme update to Versie: 1.2.1 but it did not solve the problem.
Hi Henri,
That update was pushed before this thread (approval things quite a while sadly) so there wasn’t a chance for this to be fixed in it.
Hi,
an update:
I just test it on my ipad pro and the same problem
Ipad with chrome browser
Ipad with safari browser
Hi Henri,
Thank you for reporting that. I’ve added that to the bug report and changed it from a chrome / OS specific issue to a more general one as I’ve been able to replicate it on other devices also.
Hi
So you know
I did see there was an theme update to Versie: 1.2.2 but also did not solve the problem.
