SiteOrigin North Child theme

Hi all,

I want to create a child theme of the North theme. I am wondering if you could help me create the functions.php, header.php, footer.php, and style.css files. I know how to create the style.css files but I am just not sure. Kindly help.

    Hi Paul,

    Please refer to this page on how to create a child theme. It was written with Vantage in mind but the same concept applies to North. Instead of setting the template vantage however, you should set it as siteorigin-north.

    Here’s a basic child theme that you can use. Just simply copy over the parent themes header.php and footer.php file and you’ll be good to go.
