SiteOrigin Interference with header-customizer-lite plugin

7 years ago · Last reply by Erik de Kok 7 years ago

Hello,

I installed SiteOrigin Pagebuilder and used it to build my site. Everything worked fine, until I also installed a plugin to customize my header.
After that I can’t see the page builder tab anymore.
So I deactivate the Header plugin everytime to edit my pages.
After editing simply reactivate the Header plugin, but this is a bit annoying.

Is it possible to find out what causes this interference? And how to fix it?

    Hi Erik,

I wouldn’t recommend using the linked plugin as it’s very old and inactive. I would instead recommend using something like SiteOrigin CSS. Please note that this may require additional CSS which isn’t something we’re able to directly assist with.

If your theme allows for you to use widgets to build your complete header, you can use the Layout Builder widget which is SiteOrigin Page Builder in Widget form.

    Thx Alex,

I used the SiteOrigin CSS to rebuild my header, so I didn’t needed the other plugin anymore which interfered with Pagebuilder . Worked perfectly. As does the Pagebuilder plugin.
