SiteOrigin Image hidden on Mac Safari until resize (horizontally) browser window

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

“SiteOrigin Image” Widget does not show up on Mac (10.14.4) Safari (Version 12.1 (14607.1.40.1.4)).
On all other browsers (Chrome, Edge…) it works perfect (even on Safari on iPhone and iPad).

Have a look at our website: https://www.magped.us

The 2 pictures under:
“”THE MAGPED PEDAL
Take your ride – and your confidence – to new heights with magped”
are Site Origin Image Widgets which do not show after page load.

If you resize the safari browser horizontally the 2 images show up.

    Hi Paul

All seems normal on my end. Here is what I’m seeing: https://imgur.com/a/ZI1OUPu.

Does the image persist for you if you open a Private Browsing window in Safari or clear Safari’s cache?

Other ideas including clearing your caching plugin then temporarily deactivating all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and the re-test.

    Hi Andrew!

On my side the issue still exits.
    This is what I see:

In a private browsing Safari window.
I also cleared all caches ….

    cheers

some times if I do a reload the two pictures show up and if I do another reload the vanish again…
Please try to do some reloads.

    Hi Paul

I can’t recreate at this stage, with lots of reloads. Please, try deactivating WP Rocket Lazy Load, that’s a likely point of breakage if you’re not seeing images.

If that doesn’t help, try working through the steps mentioned in my initial reply. Those extra steps are:

    Thanks :)
