Hello,
I recently added some Hero widgets to a website I’m working on and optimized for desktop. Today, I started working on making sure it was also optimized for mobile.
For the desktop view, I need side padding to be 150 pixels so the text looks nice on the background image. I don’t believe this should effect mobile versions because it’s under “desktop” under “layout.”
However, the mobile version (even when set to 1.25 fittext) displays the text so narrow there’s only one letter per line. I tried to adjust the side padding under the desktop/layout settings, and it fixed the mobile version also. (The tablet version is fine.)
I don’t believe this should be happening. How do I fix it?

The Hero Widget settings have expanded over the years. This sort of organic growth means that existing layouts have to be kept in mind as a new setting is added. As a result, the desktop padding value will apply to mobile unless a mobile padding value is set—apologies for the hassle. Please, try setting the mobile side padding value to 0 and let us know how it goes.
