SiteOrigin Hero on mobile View.

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello there! I’m currently facing a problem with the Hero widget as I’m trying to create my home page.
My problem is the way hero widget is getting displayed on mobile version ( seems more like a photo than the actual responsive widget it is) . Is there something I can do to fix this or it’s a widgets limitation.
Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Giannis

    Thanks for reaching out.

The Hero offers FitText which resizes headings for mobile. It also offers a Mobile Height setting. The background image size uses cover, this means that the way the Hero resizes isn’t suitable for all images. If you’d like a slider where the background resizes as a normal image would, you might try the Slider widget. The Slider widget offers a foreground image but doesn’t have the option to overlay text. For traditional background resizing and overlaying text, you might consider Smart Slider 3.
