SiteOrigin Hero Image Widget does show but very flat

Hello, I am using the Hero Image Widget for e.g. https://www.stratex.nl/producten/. Normally at the top of the page, right beneath the header, the image is perfectly shown with a height of 300px. Unfortunately this morning it was flat (4px height). I did not change a thing about the widget or row on that page.

When I use the WordPress customizer it is shown perfectly, without it is flat.

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi RobAirL,

This looks like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

hello! thank you for your answer. Unfortunately it did not work.

What worked was cleaning ip an lof version of the site via FTP. There were several redirects to this OLS version. Cleaning up and resetting the right URLs worked out very fine.

    Hi Rob,

That’s interesting. So, to clarify, is that as a result of caching or did you move your site to a different directory recently? Just trying to work out how that happened.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?

    Hello,

I copied my site to another directory. And I that was the mistake. I had to move it in stead of copying.

The site it happened was http://www.stratex.nl. It works right right now. Or do you mean another public URL?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rob,

Ah. Okay, so the issue will return if you adjust any widgets (specifically change a setting) that were previously affected by this issue as haven’t updated your WordPress URLs yet. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsGeneral and correct the URLs to refernece the updated paths. I would also recommend using something like Velvet Blues Update URLs to update URLs added to your posts and pages.
