SiteOrigin Google Maps

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi,

I using the Google Maps plugin on my site to show various locations with pins. Is there a way of creating a list of the locations and when a user would click on a certain location on the list it would open up the chosen location on the map above?

Also, in the info window gallery’s do not display, is there a way of getting these to work?

Many Thanks,
Ryan

    Hi Ryan

I’d love to see this in our Maps widget. It isn’t available at the moment but I’ll definitely log this as a feature request, it’s an awesome idea.

Sorry I don’t have anything for right now.

Thanks, Andrew. Also, would it please be possible to allow only one pin’s info open at a time? So once you have clicked on one for more info and then onto another, the first info box would disappear.

I think we’ve had a similar request to that. For sure, it makes a lot of sense, especially for maps with lots of pins. I’ll log your feedback as an issue report now. Thanks for sending :)

Thank you for the quick response Andrew.

P.S On another note, have the Bootstrap Glyphicons (such as menu dropdowns) stopped working on WENCorporate?

    Sure :)

That sounds like it would be a question best suited for theme support. If you send a link to a problem page I’ll take a quick look.

The website is still under construction and would require password access. If the problem persists I will get in touch at a later date. Not got time today as I am off out soon, sorry. Cheers Andrew.

No problem. If the icons are related to one of our widgets we can take a look. If the icons are related to theme menu drop-downs and similar theme related assets then theme support would be best positioned to assist.

    All the best.
