Hi,
I am experiencing problems with the SiteOrigin Editor, it is not allowing me to edit the text I have already placed in the widget previously.
I have uploaded a video on YouTube for you to see what is happening when I am attempting to use the editor. The text appears for a split second and then the editing window goes blank, with me unable to type anything in it. When I attempt to switch from “Visual” to “Text” the same issue occurs. When switching back to “Visual” the editing window disappears altogether.
I have disabled Javascript Concatenation in the wp-config.php file and the problem persists.
Can you help me please?
Regards,
Stuart
Hi Stuart,
To confirm, have you tried a plugin conflict test? If not, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
If that doesn’t help, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?
