SiteOrigin Contact Form Success Tracking

6 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 6 years ago

Hi
The return URL which shows a thank you for form submission message adds a # at the end of the URL.

The issue is that I am trying to track events on my website using google and it doesn’t like # at teh end of it. Can I customize the page displayed, do a redirect or something other?

    Hi Klarking,

You can edit your contact forms success message by opening the Contact Form and opening the Settings. Find the Success Message and alter it as desired.

It’s possible to do a redirect after submission, but you’ll need to use either JavaScript (adding it to the Success Message) or PHP to do this. I’d like to help you with doing this, but unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
