We are using the Siteorigin Contact Form plugin with ReCAPTCHA enabled and users keep getting an error (Error validating your Captcha response.) upon form submission. However, their submission is still being emailed even though they are getting an error. URL: http://pittsburghcomics.com/pghcomicspodcast/submit-podcast-questions/

Hi Josh
We’ve seen this error come up before, but haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it. Would you mind posting us a list of the plugins you have installed and any other unusual server configurations you have so we can try recreate this issue on our side. This will be a huge help in fixing the problem.
Thanks for the response. I don’t think we have any unusual server configurations to disclose. All of the active plug-ins are listed below. The site is hosted by GoDaddy.
Also, this isn’t related, but I have two other support threads that have just been sitting there with a “Pending Approval” status for a week now and no responses. Is there something I need to do to get those looked it? I appreciate the quick response to this ticket, but this was really the least critical out of the posts that I have pending.
Thanks!

Jetpack
Meta Slider
Official Statcounter Plug-In
Page Builder
Poll, Quiz, & List by OpinionStage
Regenerate Thumbnails
SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam (Used with the above contact form plug-in)

It looks like the conflict for us is with the JetPack Plug-in; specifically the Publicize feature. If that gets toggled off then the error stops presenting itself. Unfortunately, the Publicize features are more important to me than the this particular contact form. Hopefully a fix can be implemented…
Thanks for reporting Josh! I’ve just logged this in our issue tracker. Knowing exactly what’s conflicting is a huge help, so thanks for investigating.

Hi All
Just FYI the “publicize” jetpack thingy was *not* turned on for me and I had this issue.
In my case the “sharing” jetpack thingy was turned on and I had this issue.
I turned off jetpack’s “sharing” (under traffic growth) and it worked for me.
I tested and turned on “publicize” and indeed it did not work again.
In other words, it appears that at least both “sharing” and “publicize” create this issue.
Hi Luke
Thanks for sharing this plugin conflict test info. I’ll pass into onto our developers now.
Hi I am experiencing the same issue.
What is strange is that the recaptcha in the contact form widget of the Page Builder is olnly showing to logged in users.
Anonymous visitors won’t see the recaptcha, and wehn submitting the form will get the error.
See screenshots attached.
Please help.
Thanks!
Hi maurizio
Sorry to hear about the hassle. We’ve recently made a few fixes that should hopefully resolve this challenge. If you’re still experiencing it, please, open a new support thread and we’ll assist ASAP.
Hello Guys,
I had the same problem, and I notice that the chaptha box is hidden when a SiteOrigin Google Maps Widget is placed above the SiteOrigin Contact Form in PageBuilder. It sounds unlikely but when I place the Google Maps widget below the Contact Form the Chapta box becomes visible.
I hope this is usefull information for you.
Best regards,
Albert
Hi Albert
Thanks for your continued feedback and support. Any chance you could create a demo page so we could see this problem live?
