SiteOrigin Button Not Showing

Hi,

The SiteOrigin button for editing posts disappeared.

The button is activated, and it’s not a plugin issue (I have another site with the exact same plugins activated and the same theme)

I tried de-activating site origin widgets and re-activating, and that didn’t fix it either.

Any ideas?

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

If possible, please, take a screenshot of the issue as you see it and upload the screenshot to WeTransfer.com or any online location. You can then share the link. We’ll take a look and advise from there.

    Hi Andrew,

A screenshot is located here: https://apluscostumes.com/cosplay-costumes-women/

Where you see the text “View on Etsy” with an orange background.

I used to be able to add buttons. I can’t anymore.

I uploaded a screenshot of what you see when trying to edit a post here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i0wJtTRUw-Hyt0GCMcsEWBkpsVzBPyQd/view?usp=sharing

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the update.

The second button from the right in your screenshot will toggle the second row of buttons in the Editor Widget. If you’re still missing buttons, perhaps check if you used a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/. By default, the Editor Widget doesn’t have an option to add a button, it sounds like that’s something a plugin was adding.

    Sadly that’s not the issue.

I have another WordPress site with the exact same themes and same plugins…and it works on that site :/

I have the “buttons” widget activated on SiteOrigin widgets bundle…so it should work.

    Hi, thanks for the update.

Here is a screenshot of the default buttons you can expect to find in the Editor Widget: https://imgur.com/a/9JhsEvN. Any other buttons are likely added by your theme or by third-party plugins. If you’d like, you can screenshot the button you’re missing and upload the screenshot to any online location. We can take a look and try to advise which plugin is adding the button.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for the update via email. I’m unsure why your email reply didn’t post on the forum. I’m glad to hear you’ve found the plugin that is adding the required Editor buttons.

    Cheers for now.

    Andrew
