Hi,
The SiteOrigin Button widget on the top of my homepage. I presume it stopped working after some update, i’ve checked it and it seems to be set up correctly still but it just says “content not found” when clicked.
any help would be much appreciated, the site is: Bizintra.com , the button is in the top toolbar “Request a call back”
Hi Sam
Thanks for reaching out.
I’m not sure that the SiteOrigin Button is part of the problem. The content isn’t being found inside of the Magnific Popup, the popup is where the content should be loaded. Perhaps take a look at the setup of your popup.
If you’d like to rule out SiteOrigin you could set up the same link in a test page using the regular WordPress editor. That should let you know where the problem lies.
Thanks for your reply, we don’t seem to have any pop up plugins installed, could it be inbuilt to the theme?
Maybe a compatibility problem with the theme?
Thanks
The popup assets could be bundled with the theme. Overall, the question is why isn’t the content loading in the popup, how is the popup created?

Yep, so i created a new page with a test button and it works fine.

I just have no idea why it trying to do a pop-up when the button is in the toolbar on the home page.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help.
Please, publish the test page, thanks.
Sorry takes a few mins to update to allow non-members. try now.
So the link in the header isn’t intended to open in a modal overlay? If you aren’t firing that modal using a class name (I can’t see that you are) then it’s possible the theme is targetting the button link somehow. If you have a moment, kindly reach out to theme support. Send them the link to the test page and explain the issue. If you can find out why the button in the top bar is firing/initiating the modal that’ll be super helpful. Hopefully, they can help exclude the button from opening the modal.
No, I’ve no idea why it’s opening in the modal overlay.
I’ll ask the theme support. thanks.
Thanks, let us know how it goes :)
