Hello,

I want to change the link of a SiteOrigin Button when changing the language of the website.
If the user visits the original website the button should link to the example page. But when the user changes the language of the website, for example to German, the button should link to the German example page.

Is this possible with something like: Test ?

Thank you

    Hi Jelly,

What are you using to handle the language change? I ask because you should be able to change the link via that same translation method.

If you’re not using a Multilingual plugin, I would recommend giving either Polylang (free) or WPML (paid) a try.

    Hello Alex,

I am using machine translation. The plugin is called GTranslate. The user can switch the language manually, so the link of the button should be changed too.

    Thank you

I think I need to find a way to access to the html of the widget.

    Hi Jelly,

Unfortunately, we’re not very compatible with that plugin so what you’re trying to do is regrettably not possible at this time – I’m very sorry. I would recommend switching to either Polylang or WPML.
