I manage a 3 languages website. It’s the second time in a few days that the English pages don’t appear anymore (except for the Welcome page): instead there is a “not found” message. The WordPress support team believes there is a conflict between the plug-ins SiteOrigin (specifically Page Builder) and Polylang. They manage to fix it through the Side bar emulator. But the website is unstable (we Lost an order today with someone who couldn’t find the pages in her native language). Any thought? Thanks!
Hi BeaBaja,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with SiteOrigin Page Builder and Polylang. We’re not aware of any issues with Polylang and SiteOrigin Page Builder. Polylang doesn’t rely on widgets so I’m unsure why the disabling the Sidebar Emulator temporarily resolved this issue for you. Can you please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPermalink and save the page. Does that help?
If not, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
