SiteOrgin not allowing buttons to align side-by-side (Buttons X plugin)

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

WordPress Version: 4.8
SiteOrgin Version: 2.5.6
Buttons X Version: 1.9.57

My Objective: To have 2 buttons display side by side.

Ok, here is my problem…

– When I create 2 buttons using Buttons X plugin, I have them set to display beside each other (not underneath each other).

They look like…
[Button #1] [Button #2]

– When I create a new page (not using page builder), and add the 2 button shortcodes, the buttons display perfectly (side-by-side)

They look like…

[Button #1] [Button #2]

– When I create a new page, enable SiteOrgin Page Builder, and add the 2 button shortcodes, the buttons display underneath each other. I have not changed any css, just enabled siteorgin and added the shortcodes for buttons.

Example:

[Button #1]
[Button #2]

Why does SiteOrgin override the css of the buttons and make them appear underneath each other.

How do I get my 2 buttons to display side by side using SiteOrgins?

Thanks :)

    Hi Berner,

To clarify, what widget are you adding the button shortcodes to? Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
