Site Origins Widget Bundle – Fatal Error on activation

Trying to activate the SiteOrigins Widget Bundle v1.6.4 onto my site, but get “Fatal error: Class ‘SiteOrigin_Widget_Meta_Box_Manager’ not found in…”

Tried deleting it and trying again, but no luck. Any ideas?

    Hi Eleanor,

Hm, could you check the permissions of wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/base/inc/meta-box-manger.php. I suspect it’s not readable. Said file should be either 0644 or 0640 (which are the default recommended file permissions)

I’m trying to see HOW I actually check that – where I go.

I’ll keep Googling, but if you can tell me, you might save me some time!

    Thanks,
    Eleanor

    Hi Eleanor,

Very sorry! I didn’t mention that for some inane reason. :(

You need to use an FTP client to do that. I would recommend contacting your hosting provider for help with checking the permissions. Regardless, once you’ve connected to your site you need to navigate to wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/base/inc/ and then check the permissions of meta-box-manger.php
