Last week I installed Beaver Builder’s Page Builder on my website and was able to include the Site Origin button widget in the content areas on my page. Yesterday, I started setting up a new website with the same plugins and I can no longer use the plugins together. Whenever I add a button, I get the message:
This widget has scripts and styles that need to be loaded before you can use it. Please save and reload your current page.
You will only need to do this once.
But I tried saving, reloading, even deactivating and reactivating all my plugins and I am still not able to configure the button. Also, if I add the Site Origin button widget onto my page first, then I can no longer add any elements using Page Builder. The only difference I can see is that my original site has Site Origin Page Builder version 2.2.1 and my new site has the newest version 2.4.6. The versions of Beaver Builder and Site Origins Widgets Bundle are the same on both. Did the newest Site Origin Page Builder version update make the two plugins incompatible?
Hi Dnewman,
We don’t directly try and make SiteOrigin Page Builder compatible with other page builders due to obvious reasons. With that said, does it work if you disable the base plugin (SiteOrigin Page Builder) and only have the widgets bundle enabled? If not, maybe try the previous version of the plugin that you know is working with the previous site?
I’m not too sure how to proceed due to my lack of familiarity with BB. :S
