When I have the Page Builder plugin enabled it causes some of the features on WordPress visual editor (Such as color selection) not to show. How do I correct this?

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for posting. On any given page you can either use the regular WordPress editor (Visual/Text tabs) OR you can use Page Builder, but not both. If you have the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (plugin) installed and activated, you can then insert the Visual Editor widget into any page. The Visual Editor widget is a widget version of the normal WordPress editor. If you are missing buttons in the Visual Editor widget that appear in the normal Visual Editor tab there is, unfortunately, not much we can do about that at the moment. This is usually the case when additional buttons are added by third-party plugins.

It worked previously…it’s something with the js that is affecting the “mce-view” feature. It was happening in “”Post” also but I disabled page builder from that. For Pages I have a client that has a couple basic pages where page builder isn’t used it is just put into the general visual editor in WordPress. I’m completely willing to buy the premium version of the plugin of this can just work right. It was easier to use than any other page builder I’ve come across. I’ve downloaded elementor in the mean time as a quick fix. http://andyrobsondesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/IMG_4451-576×1024.jpg
As I said I’m more than happy to buy the premium upgrade if it will make the page builder work correctly

    thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the detailed feedback. Our Premium plugin adds functionality but, unfortunately, there isn’t a module that deals with this topic. We’d also never restrict any functionality to force an upgrade.

Which plugin is adding the font-family, font-size etc. that you’ve circled in your screenshot. I need to test locally and will then log a bug report accordingly.

It's a general WordPress feature on their visual editor when you select the "kitchen sink" icon and get the drop downforce the second row of formatting.

I apologize I didn't mean to insinuate it would lack a feature to force and upgrade, I just truly think this is the best page builder plugin out there and find it extremely helpful. I'm at a little bit of a loss as far as how to fix it. I've been working with it for a couple days now and the only way to get the default WordPress editor menu to show in full is by disabling the SO Page builder. I went though the plugins and disabled them all and re-enabled individually to see what had an affect on it.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for explaining further and for your support, it’s most appreciated.

Are you certain the missing features are a part of the WordPress core? Here is how my Visual Editor outside of Page Builder looks:

Yes, essentially it's that second line that missing where you can select the text colors

    Hi, I Work Here

Sorry for not being clearer. Can you see how my second line is different to the second line in your screenshot? There is no font-family or font-size option in my second line. My second line is the default second line in the WordPress editor. The extra buttons in your second line are added by a plugin, perhaps TinyMCE Advanced https://en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/. If you can confirm which plugin is adding those buttons, I can test, confirm the issue and then log it with our developers.
