Site origin hero widget not scaling down picture on phones and laptops.

Hi!

When using the site origin page builder the phone version of the website dosen’t scale down the pictures put into the Hero background thus only allowing phone users to see the middle part of the picture.

Would really appreciate some help, I’ve tried to set the picture as the rows background as well but then the picture’s resolution didn’t change and it went far out to the right not enabling people to see the whole picture.

What is the easiest way to display a picture on full width and at the same time get it scaled depending on what device is used?

    Hi Albin,

    Your best option for avoiding this is to basically not give the hero widget a height. According to your markup on your website, you’ve set each of the hero widgets to at least 400px of height.

    With that said, if you’re not using the Hero widget as a slider and you don’t wish to apply text to the image, I would recommend using a SiteOrigin Image widget to display the image instead.
