Site Origin Conflict with Classic Editor

Hi,

When both Page Builder by SiteOrigin and the Classic Editor by WordPress Contributors are enabled on our site, we cannot edit posts or create content for new posts. We cannot add media to new posts.

If we disable Page Builder by SiteOrigin and leave the Classic Editor activated, we can edit posts. However our team needs to use the functionality of the Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin for the content they want to create.

If we enable Page Builder by SiteOrigin and disable Classic Editor it doesn’t work and the only combination to get this to work in any way is Page Builder by SiteOrigin deactivated and the Classic Editor activated, but this doesn’t give us the functionality we need.

These module conflicting has only occurred this week. We are on WordPress version 5.1.12.

Can you look into why this conflicts please and how we can get both needed plugins working together again please?

Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Please, try establishing a working baseline.

Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the Classic Editor and Page Builder. With only Page Builder and the Classic Editor plugin enabled, does the issue persist?
