Hi,
I got an email from my website stating the following:
—————–
Howdy!
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Page Builder by SiteOrigin.
WordPress version 5.7.2
Current theme: Kedavra (version 2.2)
Current plugin: Page Builder by SiteOrigin (version 2.12.2)
PHP version 7.4.19

I got into the admin using recovery mode and disabled all plugins one by one but nothing fixed the site. I replaced the theme with WordPress 2021 but still didn’t fix the issue.
I increased post max size to 400M, upload max filesize to 300M, and memory limit to 60M in php.ini and tried again to activate Page Builder, but still got the error (below).
As of right now, Page Builder is deactivated and the website is back up, but its not looking very good with the plugin disabled.
I enabled DeBug in WP-Config.php but I didn’t find any errors by doing that. Might be I looked in the wrong place as im not familiar with that.
In the backend I do get this error when I attempt to activate Page Builder:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘SiteOrigin_Panels_Admin_Layouts’ not found in /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/admin.php:64 Stack trace: #0 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/admin.php(100): SiteOrigin_Panels_Admin->__construct() #1 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php(48): SiteOrigin_Panels_Admin::single() #2 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php(92): SiteOrigin_Panels->__construct() #3 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php(749): SiteOrigin_Panels::single() #4 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2300): include(‘/home/wesley55/…’) #5 /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-admin/plugins.php(191): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘siteorigin-pane…’) #6 {main} thrown in /home/wesley55/public_html/garage/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/admin.php on line 64
Any ideas?
TIA!
Hi Matt
Thanks for reaching out.
It’s possible a plugin update was interrupted. You can try deleting and re-installing Page Builder from the Plugins page to see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Yes, that did fix it! Very simple fix!
Thank you!!
Matt
Hi Matt

Cheers for now.
