Site Icon not working in Vantage theme

Hi, I have a site icon loaded in the Site Identity area in the Vantage theme but it doesn’t show on the page itself. Does anyone have any suggestions? The URL is https://ieeeexpressconferencepublishing.ieee.org/.

    Hi Tmck,

    Unfortunately, we’re not too sure why this is happening. WordPress handles the Site Icon so I would consider reaching out to WordPress for assistance with this, regardless, I’ll try to help. Does this issue occur if you use a different icon?

    I appreciate your help! I’ve tried a few images and none of them worked. Do you have any other suggestions or should I go straight to WordPress for help?

    Hi Tiffany,

    You try disabling all plugins and see if this fixes the issue. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin. You can also temporarily change theme to rule out any weird issues with Vantage – you may need to set the Site Icon again.

    If that doesn’t help, you’ll need to reach out to WordPress about this issue.

    Hi Alex,

    I deactivated and reactivated my plugins and now the site icon is showing! I should have remembered that the first thing to try is “turn it off, then turn it back on” lol ;)

    Great to hear it’s working now! So, to confirm, this issue resolved itself after reactivating all of your plugins and no plugin had to remain disabled for it to work? If that’s the case, that’s quite odd! Let me know if this issue occurs again.
