Site Glitches

Hi!

I have been experiencing a glitch using the Vantage theme. My site will occasionally omit the paragraph spacing, replacing it with an “n” value in the first text box. You can see this on my site at http://shielditcomputer.com. Also, if you look at the button boxes, there should be a check mark next to each feature. When the glitch occurs both errors happen. The paragraph loses its spaces and the buttons lose their asterix value (in edit), causing the check mark not to exist. The only way to fix it is to manually go in and save everything and publish.

I have deleted all irrelevant root folder on my host’s site. They said I would have to check with the developer about this issue. The problem remains, and I can’t have a business site that glitches up and requires maintenance. Can anyone offer me any advice? Thanks so much!!!

    Hi

Please try running through a few troubleshooting steps:

    1. Run any available updates at Dashboard > Updates.
    2. Temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins and re-test. If the issue resolves then re-activate your plugins one by one, each time checking for the problem.
    3. Try testing with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if the result is any different.

Thanks for the help! None of the steps that you provide undid the problems. Should I now try to manually edit the spacing and publish to resolve and be vulnerable to the same issue happening again? Is there a paragraph spacing setting that is forcing the glitch?

Do you have a page where we can see the issue in action?

After de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins, all at once, did you then go back your home page, fix the issue, re-save the page and check whether it re-occurred?

Ok, I fixed it. Now I will reactivate the other plugins and see it everything remains in tact. Thank you!

Super, glad to hear you’re making progress there.
