I am running Vantage Premium with Buddypress. I have recently purchased the upgrade. The problem is with the Activity Page and Group page of Buddypress. When I go to these pages, the activity and group content appears to break into the middle of the homepage content built with Pagebuilder. I turned off Pagebuilder and the Activity and Group pages are as they should be. However, then my homepage isn’t right because it needs Pagebuilder. I am using Pagebuilder 1.5.4 with WordPress 4.01 and Vantage Premium 2.2.3 and Buddypress 2.1.1.
Any suggestions? I’m sending you a link to the Activity page, which I have made public. The problem is similar in the Group page, which isn’t public. Thanks.
Hi Cheryl
Thanks for reporting this. Is there perhaps any change if you don’t use the default Activity and Group pages BuddyPress assigns and instead create your own page. On your own versions of these pages use the appropriate widget from BuddyPress and insert that widget into Page Builder on the given page:

Just wondering if this might work as a short term fix.
Thanks. I don’t see a widget option for Activity. Open for any other suggestions.
Have you tried searching for it? From within Page Builder click + to add a widget and search for Activity or BuddyPress Activity.
I turned off Page Builder and rebuilt the page without it. … It’s not a perfect solution because I am manually entering a few posts on a page. But it will do for now until there is a fix…
Thanks.
Sorry about that. Glad to here you’ve been able to continue. I’ll raise the compatibility issue again as soon as the 2.0 launch of Page Builder has gone through.
Hey there. I am back. This issue is putting a crimp in my style. I could ignore it for awhile and do the extra work entailed in reposting the content on the front without Pagebuilder. But I do not regard this as a long-term fix. I want to use Pagebuilder, not only for my front but for other pages.
The sad truth is that this worked fine before I upgraded. So my choices appear to go back to the free version and lose control over the footer color, give up the retina ready logos — and get my Pagebuilder back. Or use another theme. Or maybe pay someone to fix this???
At this point, I have questions about how fast this theme loads and whether it is worth it. If you can help, please let me know.
You there??? What do I do???
Hi Cheryl – found your thread as I was having similar problems with page builder content messing up buddypress pages.
I was finally able to resolve by doing the following.
Replaced my home page with a new one without any content.
Set this page as static home page in wp settings / reading
Then I added the content to the new home page using the site origin page builder WIDGET (my theme includes a top of page sidebar/widget area so added it there).
Might not be exactly what you need, but it’s the only thing that has worked for me, and I tried a LOT of options, including plugins like plugin organizer etc etc.
Cheers
Hi Bob
Thanks for sharing your workaround. Much appreciated.
