Installer Sidebar support for Vantage required
I have a right-hand sidebar on my Vantage site and would like to know how to add another on the left.
I would also like the ability to make them page specific if I need to.
On the home page I don’t appear to have a sidebar at all. Can you help me place one on the right hand side?

You can make your widgets page specific using the following plugin:
http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/
You can enable your home page sidebar by going to Pages > Home and setting the page template to Default. To keep that page template, continue to edit your home page from Pages > Home and not Appearance > Home Page.
Vantage, unfortunately, doesn’t offer a left sidebar. It would be a custom development job to add one. We recommend Codeable if you’re interested in getting that done.

Many thanks for this. Home page can be dealt with easily now, but it’s only easy when you know how! (I’m learning fast).
Have downloaded ‘Jetpack’, so that will certainly help.
Looks as though I may have to work around the extra sidebar idea, too costly, so I shall have to become a little more creative!

Thanks for your understanding. Glad to hear you’re making progress.
Once you’ve connected Jetpack go to Jetpack > Settings and bulk de-activate all modules. From there you can carefully choose what you’d like to use. I think this is the best approach.
