Hi, i just upgraded to premium, it’s an awesome theme, but I’ve a question:

Is there a way to put a sidebar outside of the content area? Next to it?

    Unfortunately not an option provided from within the theme. Something like this would require some custom development time. If you’re interested in augmenting the theme in this manner with some help we recommend http://codeable.io/.
