Sidebar is not showing up on Pages

I am trying to add a Facebook Like Box on a sidebar/widget on the About page.

There is no sidebar on that page or any page. It is on the Default Theme under Page Attributes as well.

I have been on Appearance, Widgets, & seen Sidebar there, so I have added Text, saved it, but when I refresh on website, it is not showing up. I am not sure what to do. I even tried Layout Editor.

(I have a Under Construction on the live website so you won’t be able to see it live).

    Hi Kathleen

    Sorry to hear about the hassle.

    If you’re using the Default page template on the About page and there is a widget added to the sidebar widget area at Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar then the sidebar should display. If you’re running a caching plugin, please, try clearing your site’s cache. You could also try adding a few more widgets and see if that makes a difference.

    To control which widgets show up on each page I recommend using: http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/.
