Sidebar in Blog page

Hi,

I´m having problems showing the sidebar on the right side of the Blog page. It does work in all the other pages, but in the Blog page the sidebar is placed at the end of the Blog Grid.

Thanks in advance!
José

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi José

    We’ve solved this before I’ve just forgotten what we did. Please try for me:

    Are you perhaps setting the blog template in two places? If that page is set as your Blog page under Settings > Reading then check that it’s not additionally being set using the Blog page template when editing the page. The page templates can be found in the right column. Use one or the other.

    Let me know if that’s it.

    If not, you could try temporarily de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this is a plugin conflict.

    Hi Andrew,

    I had the Blog template set in two places as you said. I deactivated the one in the page editor but I´m getting still the same issue.
    I have deactivated all non-SiteOrigin plugins that may be interfering in this page but got no result.

    BTW, I found a partial solution. If I comment this CSS lines, it solves the problem, I haven´t checked how it affects the rest of the pages

    .siteorigin-panels-home #primary, .page-template-templatestemplate-full-php #primary, .page-template-home-panels-php #primary, .page-template-templatestemplate-full-notitle-php #primary {
    /* width: auto; */
    /* float: none; */
    }

    Hi, I Work Here

    That will unfortunately be overwritten the next time you update. Can you try NOT setting a blog page under Settings > Reading, leave that as un-selected and then select the Blog page template for your blog page. To test this you’d need to remove the comment you added to style.css.
