I searched for this topic and found several threads. I could not find the answer to the problem. I’m using the Vantage theme. My right sidebar is appearing under the post summaries. I tried the solutions suggested in other threads, but nothing worked. I deactivated all my plugins, set the page layout to default, etc. etc. This happens only at /blog/. When I click ‘Continue Reading’, the sidebar now appears to the right of the post. Is there a custom CSS or other solution for this issue?
I appreciate any help.
Jason
Hi Jason,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Hi Alex:
The site is in development, but you can go to this URL for review –
http://www.manxportal.com/cinco10k/
Click on 'Blog' and you will see the sidebar appearing under the post excerpt. If you click on 'Continue Reading', the next page has the sidebar beside the full post. The blog is presently using the default template under Appearance/Customize – Page Template Settings – Blog –
Template – Default Template.
I can alleviate the issue by selecting the 'No Sidebar' template. That removes the sidebar, and I get only the post excerpt with the 'Continue
Reading' button. When you click the button, the full post with the sidebar to the right comes up correctly. I can live with the 'No
Sidebar' template, but it seems the sidebar should come up beside the post excerpt when the default template is selected.
What do you think?
Hi Jsavage,
Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceHome Page and disable the Custom Home Page functionality to off.
Does that help?
