Showing featured image on custom page template under child theme

Hi,

I am facing an issue that I am not able to setup my custom template page to be able to show featured image set up in my child theme (which is inherited from Vantage).

This worked well with the following scenarios:

original Vantage theme + “Full Width Page, No Title” template + set up featured image
the same as above, but with child theme already

But I have stucked when I introduced my custom page template.

Could you please help me out?

    We can’t get too deep into custom development within our free support scope but can try to make suggestions.

    Here is a more conventional example calling the featured image https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-corp/blob/develop/template-parts/content-page.php#L17.
