I am setting up my sidebar with various widgets and I want certain ones to appear everywhere, others to appear only on the blog and others to appear on anything shop related. I’ve been successful in getting the product categories widget to appear in all the individual product pages (All product posts) and have figured out by trial and error how to get it to appear on the main Shop page by putting “shop*” in the Target by URL section of the Widget Context. However, I still need this widget to show up on all the individual category pages and they don’t. What do I need to write in the Target by URL to make that happen? Alternatively, is there another way to get certain widgets to show up on some pages but not others?

After you’ve activated Jetpack and logged in, go to Settings > Jetpack, de-activate all modules and just activate Widget Visibility.

OK, so i got the Jetpack, deactivated everything but the Widget Visibility and now what? How do I get a widget to show up on the side bar in some pages, but not others. I want the Price Categories widget to shop up on every page that has to do with the store, but the only option it gives me is “All product posts”, but what about other pages that are not product pages?
OK, I had to deactivate the Widget Context widget, which was doing something similar to the Jetpack visibility, but just not as thorough. That seemed to work well and now I have most of the widgets on the side bar in the places that I want with one exception: The Product Category and the Price Filter still DOES NOT show up in the SHOP section of my site – why is that? I’m doing the same thing as to the other pages and they show up everywhere else but not here: http://www.zaaya.com/shop-2/.
