Hello,
I am getting ready to implement a shopping cart and payment system on a site I have built with Vantage Premium, and I noticed that forum posts are dated about a year ago on related topics.
Does SiteOrigin have any favorite shopping cart software out there these days that work well in Desktop and mobile screens?
In the case of the site I am building, they don’t qualify yet for their own merchant account, and I notice that one of the third
party merchant sites is paypal,, which allows users to pay for items using a credit card but not requiring the user to have a paypal account.
Paypal also seems to have its own shopping cart software. Any experience with that with Vantage??

It depends on what you’re selling. For physical items, I would go with WooCommerce. For digital (or a service), I would go with Easy Digital Downloads.
For payments, another option would be Stripe. It’s basically a merchant account(read: payment processor) without the need to deal with any banks directly(or anything like that). The downside to PayPal is that they block high-risk countries. I would recommend going with both if you can.
As to the on-site PayPal stuff, that’s called PayPal Express. Here’s a WooCommerce extension that integrates it.
