Several Blog pages

Hi there fantastic support team ; )

Another question as I am running on in the Vantage Premium theme experience

I want to make several pages where I can put blog posts on (through categories) and i want to make them full width pages
I read in the forum that there is no selection for a blog template (notticed that!) and this solution:
In your WordPress admin, if you navigate to Settings > Reading, then select your blog page for the “Posts page:” setting.

What to do if you want several pages with posts ?

Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jvanbavel

So sorry we weren’t able to reply sooner.

The easiest solution here is to use our Page Builder plugin on each page and insert the Post Loop widget. So on each page you’d click the Page Builder tab > Add widget > search for the Post Loop widget and insert it. The Post Loop widget has a Query Builder that’ll let you select the category or categories you’d like to display.

Let me know if you need any further help with this :)

I could not make it work so i chose another simpel option,
i inserted the categories directly into the menu through menu options.
Now it is a blog page

Fot those who want to use this option AND insert text directly on the page … that does not work you will then have to use the page builder.
Through the menu option ‘ category” you create a clean blog page.

    Hi, I Work Here

    That works. Thanks for sharing.

If in the future you want to re-look at the Post Loop way of doing it, let me know and we can have another go.

    All the best.

    Kind Andrew

If You have time I would like to know anywayz
I entered in the query the name of the Category and the slug
But it would return simply a loop of all Posts so there I quitted : )
    Kind regards

    Hi, I Work Here

For sure. It’s easier to use our new Query Builder. Click the button in the widget that says Build posts query. In the Taxonomies field start typing the name of the category you want to display, you’ll get a list of options, choose the one you’re looking for.
