Settings for Left and Right Padding on Logo

10 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 10 years ago

I’m using Vantage Premium with the boxed layout and have the constrain logo size unchecked. I see threads on how to modify the CSS to remove this padding. Wondering if there a way to remove the left and right padding through the Premium settings without touching the CSS?
Thank you!

    Hi Runeofwater

Unfortunately this would only be possible with adding a little bit of custom CSS. Our CSS Editor plugin makes adding custom CSS a lot more friendly. Let me know if you’d like to go the custom CSS route and we’ll write that up for you.

The answer is here if you’d like to go the custom CSS route – Thread: How To Remove Left and Right White Space Around Logo? (Vantage Premium) – just be sure to read the later replies which include the most up to date code.

One more quick question about this…if I modify the CSS in the CSS Editor plugin, will theme updates override this? Will I need to set up a child theme before making this CSS change?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Runeofwater

One of the key reasons we build SiteOrigin CSS was to give our users a way to add custom CSS that persists across updates. Everything is safely stored in your database, no matter what happens to your theme files during an update.
