Select a wordpress template for a site origin page

Trying to select a template (for example “full-width”) on the page edit will always be reset to “default” upon saving.
A workaround is to set the template on “quick edit”.
Please enable it also on the edit screen.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rafiw,

To confirm, is this issue occurring with the Page Settings box and are you using Gutenberg? If so, this issue should be fixed in the latest version of SiteOrgin Widgets Bundle, are you using the latest version (1.13.2)?

    Hi Alex

    I am not using Gutenberg.
I am using version 2.9.1 of the page builder.
    The Widget bundle is 1.13.2
I cannot change the template it is always returning to default.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rafi,

Thanks for confirming. Can you please show me a screenshot of the area you’re trying to adjust? Please note that we’re currently unable to process attachments so you’ll need to upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hi Alex.

To reproduce the problem I don't need to edit or change anything on the edited page.
The only thing I do is: on the edit screen of WordPress I change on the right side, inside the "page attributes" box on the "template" select box from "Default Template" to "Full Width", then I click the "update" button.
The edit page is reloaded. When I look at the template box the "Default
Template" is back. The change I made on the select box is not being saved on the server.
For the time being, I solved the problem by setting a private template to the page I am working on and it becomes the "Default Template".

    Best Regards

    Rafi

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rafi,

Thanks for clarifying. Can you please clarify what theme you’re using? I ask as the Page Attributions box isn’t controlled by SiteOrigin Page Builder. Does this issue occur on non-SiteOrigin Page Builder powered pages for you?

I’ve tried to replicate this issue and I’ve been unable to so far.

    Hi Alex

I use the child theme of Sydney.
It does not happen with any other editor, I tried the standard tiny mce and
I tried Gutenberg, both are OK.

I think it is a compatibility issue with Sydney.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rafi,

Does this issue occur if you’re not using Sydney (as in, no child theme)?

If so, I would reach out to aThemes about this issue. I suspect they’re either aware of it or know of a reason why this issue may be affecting Sydney.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rafi,

Twenty Seventeen doesn’t include any additional templates so that box isn’t shown.
