I want to add a security code to my contact form. I found a video tutorial which uses Genrate Tag and Captha plug in. I cant find Generate Tag option when I am on the “Edit Form” page. Its like my Generate Tag is missing
Hi Nahdi
Have you perhaps tried using: https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-captcha/. Once activated all you need to do is edit your form and click the Captcha button located just above the form field. There is a list of buttons there. Captcha is one of them.
sorry I couldn’t do it properly and I ended up a mess, you can check it on http://www.ovenstar.com.au now I cant fix it
now that Generate Tag botton is missing means I will have a problem?
Have you sent login details in the past? I can login and check this out for you.
no I haven’t given them before, but I prefer to keep my log in details private. I appreciate it you can advise how can I sort it out myself
You’ve successfully inserted your captcha. Look at the fields above the captcha in Contact Form 7. They have titles. Just add a title to your captcha field explaining what to do.
sue, I just was wondering if disappearing of generate tag button is a problem or not?
It’s not there in my copy so no, I wouldn’t worry about.
thanks Andrew :)
For sure :)
