Search results article display only

Hi there, the search function in the header bar currently displays everything that is tagged as eg ‘meditation’. I obviously don’t want that, I only want ARTICLES / pages to display (not images)…Please can you advise where I can set display preferences?

If this is not possible please advise how I can remove the search area without it moving everything in my header over to the left. Currently I have from left to right SEARCH, MY LOGO, CART AND CURRENCY. If I remove search, it moves my logo to the far left and the cart etc to teh middle of the window, not what I want obviously.

    Hi Thea-Lize,

    The search area in the header uses the standard WordPress search functionality so it’s compatible with any search plugin that extends that. I mention this because WordPress gives you basically no control over the search by default so you’ll need to use a plugin to do what you’re trying to do. I would recommend giving this article a read for suggestions (it contains both free, and premium options).
