Hi there,
I recently noticed that the menu doesn’t drop down and the search bar does not open on my website. I have the unwind theme and both are at the top of the page. How can I fix this?
Hi Jessica
Thanks for reaching out.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Hi! Yes, sorry, my site is https://www.thissimplesavourylife.com
Thanks :) If a plugin produces a JavaScript error on the page it can prevent other plugins and the theme from using JavaScript. Please, could you try temporarily deactivating Ultimate Social Media Icons and see if that helps?
If you’d like to view the console errors, here is a short guide on how to do that https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis.
Hi Andrew,
Unfortunately, deactivating the plugin didn’t resolve the issue. Is there something else I can try?
Thanks for the feedback. Please, try a full plugin conflict test. Temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. If the issue resolves in that state, reactivate your plugins one by one, testing for the issue after each reactivation.
Hello! It ended up being the cookiebot plugin. Thank you for your help!
Super, I’m glad to hear you’re making progress. All the best with your site.
