Scroll over on link showing up in wrong place

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hello, within the last two days I have added to different pages to my website using the SiteOrigin plugin on both. For one I have two simple buttons that are supposed to link to different pages and for the other I have a Form Maker plugin at the bottom for users to fill out a form. Both pages seem to be glitching when it comes to the scroll over to click feature. On the first page with the links (http://gr8skn.com/join-our-team/) you need to go much lower than the button to be able to access the link that I want to be clicked. So, when you go to click the first button, the scroll over arrow for the link doesn’t appear until you are on the next button, and you have to go about half way down the page and click on virtually nothing to find the scroll over arrow for the second link. For the Form Maker form (http://gr8skn.com/internship-application/), nothing is showing up to be able to write in the given spaces, but on my mobile device I noticed that again, if I click lower I am able to type, it just does not show up anywhere. I have updated both my WordPress, and my SiteOrigin plugin to the most recent update, and everything else is updated as well.

Please let me know of any suggestions!

Thank you!

    Hi janine

    Thanks for reaching out.

At a glance, there do appear to be compatibility challenges between Page Builder and your theme. We don’t see this often but it is possible. If you can perhaps, start by clearing your caching plugin and then deactivating it, we’ll be able to get a better look at what’s happening from a code perspective.

Ok thanks! It is cleared and deactivated

Thanks, we can see a bit more now. Can you perhaps switch this page over to another page template? The contact page template looks to be restricting the content to a width of 595px which I would imagine is for the orignal design but doesn’t work well with Page Builder. Is there perhaps a full-width template option? You can find the Template drop-down menu in the right column when editing the page.
