Hi
Under theme settings I change a few things:
1) Header text is defaulted to “call me maybe” – I delete
2) home page slider is set to the default – I change to the one I created
I hit save and it says settings save then I go back in and its gone back to the defaults.
how do I get my changes to save?
thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hi Alex
    Thank you for your post.
I tried disabling and then clearing my caches.
I actually only have the 1 plugin activated anyways (the Meta Slider).

    Hi,

Hm. Maybe it’s a hosting issue. What hosting provider are you using?

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lovingcheapseats,

Thanks – taking a look now. Actually, is there a reason why you’re using such an old version of Vantage? For reference, the latest version is 1.57 and you’re using 1.12.

No reason, I didn't realize there was a newer version.
How do I download the newer version?

With the siteorigin premium — is there a hotline for help? or is it all done over email?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lovingcheapseats,

Ah. That explains it then. Very sorry about that!

To update to the latest version of Vantage Premium you’ll need to do a manual install. To do this however you’ll need to get a copy of Vantage Premium. You can get a copy by either filling out this form or contacting premium support (see below *).

Once you have a copy of the latest version of Vantage Premium, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceThemes and change to a non-Vantage theme, then delete Vantage. Click Add NewUpload Theme and upload / activate the Vantage Premium. Once you’ve done that, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsPremium and input your order code.

Be sure to check out the recently updated documentation as there was recently large scale setting changes.
