Hi there,
I’m hoping you can help me. I am trying to make updates to our website, which uses Page Builder. When I go to edit the ‘Fancy Heading’ widget in the Page Editor, I’m unable to press the save button. The other widgets work fine – it just seems to be the ‘Fancy Heading’ widget that do not allow me to save edits.
How can I fix this? I have cleared my cache and deactivated my other plugins, but this does not fix the issue.
Look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Thanks, Tori
Hi Tori
Do you know which theme or plugin this widget is authored by? One way to test to see if it’s a SiteOrigin widget would be to temporarily deactivate all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and also switch to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen. At that point, is the Fancy Heading widget still available or does it say Missing Widget?
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for getting back to me. I have deactivated all the plugins, but I am still experiencing the same issue.
I haven't switched to a default theme yet – I just wanted to confirm that I won't lose any of my current theme settings/custom CSS if I switch to and from Twenty Seventeen?
Hi again,
I went ahead and switched to the Twenty Seventeen theme, with all the plugins deactivated – but I then lost the ability to edit the page using
Page Builder. I think this may be inbuilt into my WordPress theme:

Hi Tori
Thanks for starting the troubleshooting process. If Page Builder is bundled with your theme, support would need to go to the theme developer. Sorry, I don’t have better news. We don’t have control over our plugins once they’ve been bundled. In the case of a premium theme like yours, if Page Builder has been bundled, hopefully, you can also get premium support.
