Same Issue – Blank Page, No Tab Showing For Page Builder

Has there been any resolution to this problem? I am having the same issue. I am backing up my site right now but will then turn off all other plugins to test.

I just updated my theme this morning (Twenty-Seventeen), and had been having timeout issues (500 Internal) earlier today as well. I double-checked with domain host and updated PHP to 7.1 and increased all settings to max. All seemed fine other than slow page load times which I also attribute to local service.

Site is now showing blank tab in WordPress Admin Pages. Pageload stops before Page Builder tab loads. Currently the page shows blank for “Visual” and “Text” tabs.

Site and the page is at: “www.gtrincorporated.com/iics/people/international-court-council/”

This is a staging directory and I’ve been trying to get this thing off my plate for days now, but have been having constant problems. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I will follow up with results from turning off all other plugins.

Turned off all plugins except for Page Builder

Turning on plugins as follows:

All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly
Black Studio Tiny MCE Widget
Duplicate Page
Hummingbird (when this went back on, tabs disappeared and message notification came up saying that page data was different than browser – I dismissed, resaved page, now no tabs at all, only “Revert to Editor” at top right. Maybe tabs were always missing prior to plugin issue? I can’t remember)
Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets
Query Monitor
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – now page is actually functional
Smush
TinyMCE Advanced

I left the following plugins OFF:

All-in-One WP Migration
Child Theme Configurator
Donation Thermometer
Jetpack by WordPress.com
Ninja Forms
Ninja Forms reCAPTCHA
SiteOrigin CSS
YouTube

So far, so good. Not really sure which of the “OFF” plugins caused the conflict. Hopefully this takes care of the issue altogether.

    Hi Eric,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? Also, would it be possible for me to run a plugin conflict (based on your findings)?

    Hi Alex,

Thank you so much for your quick response. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I could barely keep my eyes open when I received your response last night so better to set things up when I am more awake.

The UID you sent is set up. I am still in the process of making updates to the site content, so please let me know if there is any possibility of a shutdown. This organization was already behind schedule in getting their revisions to me so I am now under pressure to move ahead quickly to get everything done and to get the site up live even though there will still be more changes to implement. This may not be the best time to do any testing that could impede my ability to make content edits and view live changes.

I received notification that there was a Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin update this morning as well, so I went ahead and updated. Maybe this is where the issue was and you've already resolved it?

In any case, looking forward to your response and any findings.

    Best regards,

    Eric S. Arts

Still having issues, but now I have found that it’s actually the SiteOrigin Widgets bundle. When I turn off the bundle, PageBuilder shows up on my page in the dashboard, but then of course, the widgets are not functional and I can’t edit my work. When I turn SiteOrigin Widgets bundle back on, PageBuilder disappears and does not load in the dash at all and the page defaults to the “Text” tab.

I’m on a tight deadline to get this site edited and can’t do anything until this is resolved. I hope you are having some success in finding what is causing the conflict between the two related plugins. I don’t have the luxury of time to move everything over to something else right now. I appreciate your assistance.

    Hi Eric,

Thanks. So I’ve run a few tests and looked most of the SiteOrigin Page Builder powered pages with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle activated, and can’t seem to replicate this issue. Is this issue only affecting certain pages? Are you able to replicate this issue on another computer or while using a different WordPress account (like the one you created me)?

    Hi Eric,

Actually, I just saw a page with an issue, 2018 International Court Council. I’m unsure why that page is broken but there appears to be a PHP error present. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG? This will require editing wp-config.php so if you need help with that I would reach out to your hosting provider for assistance.

For a quick workaround, I would consider replacing that page with the page I just created called 2018 International Court Council – CLONE as the clone appears to be unaffected by the issue. Be sure to make the page public if you do this.
