Row or widget as clickable link

I am using Vantage Premium and Pagebuilder.

Is there any way that I can make an entire row in pagebuilder, or an entire widget into a clickable link?

Since I am using pagebuilder I can’t just wrap the element in an (at least I don’t think I can), so I was wondering if you had encountered this before, or had any suggestions.

My particular use case is like this:
I have a row in pagebuilder, that contains the layout builder widget. THat layout builder has its own rows and cells. The layout Builder widget is given a class, so that CSS can be applied to everything inside that layout at once (most importantly, background color on hover). But Ideally I would like to make that entire layoutbuilder widget also a link.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Calin

One solution might be to use JS to handle this:

That little script could be wrapped in script tags and used inline.

Hi Andrew, this link is not working for me. Calin, did you come right with this?

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi acara

We, unfortunately, don’t yet have this as a feature in Page Builder or the Widgets Bundle. The JS solution I linked to above is a bit of a custom development task, so not really within our usual support scope. If you’d like to open a fresh support thread and send us a link to the page you’re working on we could take a look and see if there is anything we can do to assist or perhaps make a suggestion as to an alternative solution.

    Acara,

To be honest, I cant remember exactly what I was trying to accomplish here. I do not think I was able to do it as I originaly asked, and instead changed my design slightly to work around the limitation.

Sorry I can t be of more help.
