Row Height in PageBuilder

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

In edit mode, the height of a row display is about 800px. Until two days ago, it was just the height of the widget(s). Everything works as it should in edit mode.

It does not affect the display on the website. It just makes it awkward to edit.

it is like a setting got turned off.

thanks

    Hi Kim,

This looks like a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Alex,
The conflict appears to be with Hummingbird plugin. Its asset optimization feature compresses css and javascript files. I can turn off compression on any given file. I’ve tried to find the files related to Page Builder to turn off compression but cannot seem to locate them.

I assume siteorign files have either siteorign or sow in the file name.

Which files should I turn off?

    Thanks, Kim

    Hi Kim,

That’s odd. Hummingbird shouldn’t really be affecting the admin area. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at this issue? This will allow me to work out what’s going on and (hopefully) to avoid this.

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your offer.

Your update of the widget bundle on Thursday fixed the problem — or at least it went away.

Page Builder is back to normal.

You can mark this as closed.

    Best, Kim
