Hi, I love SiteOrigin’s Vantage theme and I continue to be impressed with the level of support SiteOrigin provides. So thank you!
I’ve been developing a Vantage themed site, sandhillreview.org, for several months and had Bluehost shift the site from a temporary url to it’s permanent one this weekend. Basically, everything broke. Bluehost worked hard and I had to restyle most of the pages, but the website is mostly fixed now, though the mobile site is still broken. There are pages that are coming up—one character per line, and pages that won’t load at all, even though these pages are fine when viewed on a computer screen.
Here are my questions: Bluehost mentioned that they allowed your recent update to go through while they were trying to fix the site. Perhaps this caused some issues. Is there a way to reload or refresh the Vantage theme on my website without doing away with all the work that I’ve done so far?
I just read of the option to turn off the mobile site and revert to regular browsing viewing. Has this been tried with the Vantage theme successfully in the past? Thanks for your help—and thanks again for your theme. By far, it’s the best theme I’ve ever worked with.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wendy,

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing. To clarify, what version of were you using prior to the move? And by update, do you mean Vantage or SiteOrigin Page Builder?

It looks like, since your thread, you’ve disabled the responsive layout. Can you please temporarily enable the Vantage Responsive Layout so I can inspect the resulting issue? Sorry about this!

You can do this by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceThemes and changing to a non-Vantage theme, then delete Vantage. Click Add New, find and install Vantage.

Your settings and content will be unaffected by the reinstalling.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response. I received an email over the weekend from you folks that helped me fix the site title (I’m using that as my logo) with a bit of CSS. Mobile site, however, is still wonky. I enabled the Responsive Layout (Customize> Theme Settings > Layout). You can see that the triple and double columns on the first page refuse to fall into single file and the site title seems to be wedging itself into too small of a space. The line height is off—that would fix it, but it really could fit all on one line without a problem, right?

Thanks for your help! I signed up for premium last week because of the fine work you folks are doing.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wendy,

Oka so this issue appears to be related to the minification plugin you’re using. What minify are you using?
I would take a look at its settings and see if you can exclude either:

    wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/css/front-flex.css?ver=2.5.8

    OR

    wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/../css/front-flex.css

If neither work, please try temporarily disabling it (and clearing any cache you may have) to see if that helps (this will allow us to know for sure if it’s related to the minify).

By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard (please refer to the support tab).
