Right Sidebar items keep disappearing at random days

Hi,
I use vantage theme for the past 2 years and ever since I’ve had this, everything on the right sidebar disappears.. sometimes every few days.. sometimes every few months. Even if I do not update anything or change anything on the site.

What can I do here?

Shyam

    An example post is http://teachmehana.com/sap-definition/

The Ad on the right sidebar plus the orange hyperlinks are 2 separate text widgets which keep disappearing.

    Hi Shyam Uthaman

Unfortunately, we’re not too sure why this is happening – we haven’t received any reports of this happening before like this so we don’t have anything to go off of. Do you have any plugins that adjust or control your sidebars in any way? What sort of things are you doing when the sidebars disappear?

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

sorry for the late reply but this happened again after I reinstated the sidebar widgets manually for the 30th time at least in 2 years. And it has happened to other users too. Just search for vantage right sidebar disappears and you get posts.
An example is: Thread: Vantage : widgets keep disappearing

    Hi Shyam,

Unfortunately, both reports are very isolated so that suggests this isn’t specifically a theme issue – general issues like this would result in a massive influx of threads of time rather than just a handful. I really wish I could help you, but we really have no way of knowing the actual source of the issue unless we were specifically able to replicate it or find a direct cause.

Regardless of the above, to confirm, have you run the plugin conflict test when this issue has occurred?
Also, if you’re setup is similar to the other poster – a VPS – can you please try restarting the VPS? The other user was able to fix this issue by doing that.
