    Hi Linda

Thanks for posting your question. Have you perhaps checked out the Shop widget area available at AppearanceWidgets. It’s only available when WooCommerce is active.

    Hi Andrew,

When I go to Apperance and Widgets, I arrive to a page with 4 columns : two columns of widgets and two columns where I can put the widgets.

The first one of these colums have the original Sidebar that appears on blog etc.We have removed the Sidebar from certain pages however and Shop is one of them.
Beneath this Sidebar area I find SHOP, but when I add a widget to this SHOP area nothing happends.

The target is to install a new sidebar that only appears on the shop pages.

The Woocommerce plugin is active, well , I hope because i am adding products. Woocommerce is not public yet.

Am I working in the correct areas of widgets?

This is what it looks like ( the link is a printscreen)

    Kinded regards,
    Linda

    Hi Linda

    Thanks for the wait.

Yes, that’s the correct widget area that you’ve added your WooCommerce Product Categories widget to. Could you perhaps publish a product page and share the link so we can check the page out and take a look at the source code to see why the sidebar isn’t appearing. It might also be helpful to put a Text widget into the Shop area with some dummy content, just for testing purposes.
